What do recent

joiners say?

What is our culture?

We offer an environment that is free from politics, bureaucracy, matrix management and grading structures. The company has a family feel where you can get to know everyone.

We focus on the work-life balance and the majority of our work is in London and the South East which means very few of our people ever need to stay away during the evenings.

The company is employee owned which means we can take a longer term view and we are not hampered by artificial short term sales or utilisation targets.

We work in an approachable, friendly and honest way with clients. We are supportive and collaborative and we don’t use formulaic or prescriptive approaches.

Our team sizes are relatively small and the absence of grading structures means people are more willing to help you.

You are trusted with clients to use your own judgement and free to develop client relationships.

How are people assigned?

We have a mature approach to assigning our people to new opportunities. We discuss the type of work, required expertise and location with them to ensure they are comfortable with it. We never put people into roles or locations that they are not happy with.

Examples of our assignments include:

ICT reviews, ICT strategy and ICT market evaluation

Applications and solutions architecture

Business process and requirements analysis

Business change and digital transformation

Portfolio planning, PMO and supplier management

Business case development and market evaluation

ICT Procurement support and supplier engagement

When you’re not on assignment, we don’t expect you to come into the office every day.  You are expected you to be proactive and

self-managed.

What do recent joiners say?

This is a selection of comments from some our more recent joiners:

“Everyone knows of each other, and everyone has a genuine interest in our well-being.”

“There is a good support network, both within medley teams working on the same projects and between projects. There is a culture of sharing experience and looking out for each other and this is encouraged by the senior team.”

“Work is quality-focussed and this is evident by the fact we win projects off the back of other projects for the same clients.”

“There is the opportunity to undertake a broader scope of roles.”

“Medley consultants are expected to be adaptable, working with clients and having roles evolve as the engagement progresses.

This means that employees have the opportunity to shape their own work and respond to the client’s needs.”

“Support is available if required and asked for, but not proactively forced upon you.”

“There is no expectation to spend significant times away from home or travelling beyond a reasonable commute.”
